nockgunPatrick Harper is from the book series Sharpe By Bernard Cornewell. He serves as the secondary protagonist to Richard Sharpe and appears in the majority of the books as one of the major characters. Though sometimes the story is told in his perspective, most of it is from the perspective of Richard Sharpe, his commanding officer. Although he is iconed from the movie series, the original novels follow a different order of stories an thus anyone familiar with the movies might be confused by this. He is played from the end of Sharpe's Enemy.
